Community Care Foundation (CCF), we are committed to ensuring that every child in Somalia has access to inclusive, quality education and a safe, protective environment where they can thrive and reach their full potential. Our programs aim to restore hope, resilience, and stability for children affected by conflict, displacement, and poverty.

Our Interventions

  1. Access to Quality Education: We support formal and non-formal education programs to remove barriers to learning and ensure all children can enroll, attend, and complete school. Our approach promotes equitable access and inclusive learning opportunities for the most vulnerable children.
  2. Safe Learning Environments: CCF establishes Child-Friendly Spaces (CFS) that provides psychosocial support, recreational activities, and protective environments for children affected by emergencies. These spaces foster social-emotional development, recovery, and a sense of normalcy.
  3. Child Protection Services: We strengthen community-based child protection mechanisms to identify, prevent, and respond to risks such as abuse, neglect, child labor, and early marriage. Our interventions prioritize the safety, rights, and dignity of children in line with international child protection standards.
  4. Parenting & Community Engagement: CCF conducts awareness campaigns and parenting sessions on positive caregiving, children’s rights, and protective practices. By engaging families, caregivers, and community leaders, we build safer, more supportive environments for children.
Our Impact: Through integrated Education and Child Protection programs, CCF empowers children with knowledge, safeguards their rights, and strengthens communities’ capacity to provide long-term protection, care, and opportunities for sustainable child development.
